SUB mount stands for Stabilizer Under Bars. The idea here is to allow more room for other equipment such as a Global Positioning Systems or computer equipment and still retain the quick access to adjust the stabilizer. In some cases, the user just prefers the stabilizer under the bars. This is also good for the taller rider who wants his bars a little higher. Because this raises the bars about 25mm, you might consider a lower bend bar at the same time, unless you are trying to achieve a higher bar height along with your stabilizer. We can also help you with other bars, should you need them. We have a full selection of handlebars to choose from. This kit is designed to be used with the stock triple clamp, oversize handlebars and stock lower mounting perches. This kit allows you to utilize either handlebar position #3 (which is stock) or position 4 (a little farther forward). Everything bolts on in a matter of minutes and Step by step pictured instructions are included, along with all the necessary hardware.
